Our mission is to promote pastel painting, and other forms of dry media, including art created in charcoal, graphite and colouring pencils. The society was formed in 1988 by Sam Mateer as chairman, so artists sharing a passion for dry media could meet, and exhibit together. Mark Ivan Cole - Tutored Workshop

26th and 27th April Clotworthy Art Centre, Antrim Castle Gardens, Antrim, Co Antrim

The workshop was themed - “Painting the Emotional Landscape” - We had an absolute ball!

We learned so much, tried out new techniques and papers, and had new perspective to further develop our skills as artists. A huge thank you to Mark, for all his work and expertise, and to Julie and Catherine for their wonderful organisation of this weekend.
