Rosalinda Connolly is a fine artist living and working in Co. Down and is a member of the Pastel Society of Ireland.

Being a Post Graduate from Belfast College of Art and Design, she has worked in the creative world for many years.

Rosalinda and her husband are the original owners and creators of Painted Earth Newcastle Co. Down - a quality Irish Art and Craft gift shop.

For approximately 15 years they provided beautiful hand crafted high end designer jewellery, ceramics, pottery, Irish gifts and art work of professional artists.

Painting has featured in her life from a young age and most days she can be found in her studio working on originals in various mediums - pastel, oil and acrylic.

Painting in pastel allows her freedom to explore the balance of harmonious and jarring colours for intense colour 'popping'. Inspired by Irish landscapes and seascapes she captures atmosphere and mood in her pastel interpretations of rugged mountains and wild coastlines.
