My name is Patricia Mooney. I am an artist born and living in Belfast.

I attended the University of Ulster where I obtained a degree in Graphic Design specialising in illustration. I particularly like to paint animals and landscapes using a variety of mediums but I especially love pastels which allow me to capture the likeness and detail I depict in my pet portraiture paintings.

I am a full member of The Pastel Society of Ireland of which I am currently secretary.

I am also a member of the Ulster Society of Women Artists and The Society of Feline Artists. I have exhibited with them and also at the Royal Ulster Academy of Arts annual exhibition and I sell work through the Yard Gallery in Holywood.
